This private Berkeley mansion situated across the street from Tilden Park has the feel of an estate from Nantucket on the eastern coast with gorgeous spacious rooms looking out on a huge stretch of lawn with a view of the water beyond.

Walls of white wainscoting, gleaming wood floors, Carrera marble counters and baths.  A to-die-for master suite with balcony, vegetable boxes, flower cutting garden, wine cellar, laundry room fit for a small inn, media room, library, a chef’s kitchen more elaborate than those found in most chic SF “it” restaurants and a pizza oven. Did I mention the master BATH?  A soaking tub made entirely of Carrera marble tiles – the most perfectly inviting bath I have ever seen – yes,  I was tempted to fill it and add Chanel bubble bath…

This is the kind of home you want to just stay in and never leave because you have everything you could possibly want.

The decoration of this one was a treat.  RH everything was the order of the day.  Huge walls to hang my coveted RH map of Paris, large scale linen and leather furnishings, huge gorgeous orchid arrangements…bright sunlight, warmth everywhere…yes..I definitely could see myself living a lavish lifestyle in this home.
